Book Review – Available Now! Tell Me Now (A Show and Tell Duet #1) by S. Moose

Title: Tell Me Now
Series: A Show and Tell Duet #1
Author: S. Moose
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 9, 2018
Bryce Hunter is rich, confident, powerful, and dominant. Men like him take what they want from any woman they want. Without thinking twice, they use you, break you, and then leave the pieces behind.

Past experience tells me to keep my distance, but there’s only one problem—the attraction between us is undeniable. I’m failing to control the desire he ignites in me, yet I know what’ll happen if I give in. I’ll be the broken pieces left behind.

With no boundaries, it’s not long before his cocky attitude and persistence wear me down. The attention and adoration he showers me with make me see him in a different light, and all too soon, I’m falling for his charms. Falling in love.

Love isn’t kind.

Love isn’t worth it.

Secrets come to light, and I find out I should always trust my instincts.

I’m the pawn in his game.

And I lose.

Tell Me Now is the first book by S. Moose that I have read. If you are a fan of strong alpha males, you will enjoy this book.

Bryce is filthy rich, dominating and controlling. He has worked hard to make his business what it is, and is used to people doing as he demands. He also has a sweet, gentle side, although it is apparent that he is keeping secrets.

Madison, recovering from a terrible breakup is smart, driven, and makes it her mission to be good at whatever she does. She wants to be single and free, and is terrified of opening herself up to another heart break.

The storyline moves along at a nice clip, and the chemistry between Bryce and Madison is pretty steamy. There are several other characters in the book that bring a lot to the story, and I would have liked to see them developed a bit further; however, you can only cover so much in one book.

The one negative(?) thing I can say is that the dialogue between Bryce and Madison was not realistic. It felt stilted and at times, forced, to me. The dialogues between the rest of the characters felt genuine and easy; however, I felt myself having to skim over some of the conversations between Madison and Bryce, because it just didn’t work for me.

Dialogue aside, this was a relatively quick and easy read and I enjoyed it quite a lot.
